  1. I am afraid to mail my photos. What do I do? You have the option of scanning in the photos yourself and uploading them through our Order Now page. This way your photos never leave your possession. You can also mail us a CD with your photos on it.  If you don't have access to a scanner, take your photos to an Officemax, Staples or Kinko's.  They will Scan your photos onto a CD which you can then mail to us.

  2. How do you Restore/Retouch my photos? We use state of the art digital techniques, software and equipment. We scan in your photos at a high resolution so that they may be enlarged later. Our Artists take pride in each and every picture, and each one presents a unique challenge.

  3. What Resolution should I scan my photo at? For Photos 2x3 in. or smaller-----Scan at 600 dpi.  For Photos 2x3--5x7 in.-----Scan at 400 dpi.  For Photos 5x7 and larger.-----Scan at 300 dpi.

  4. How do I scan my photos? First, start off by wiping the glass of the scanner with a non-abrasive wipe and some Windex. Make sure the glass is dry before placing the picture down. Make sure the picture rests against one side of the scanner so that it remains straight. Preview the picture before scanning it. Refer to question #3 for scanning resolutions. Save your photos as a .Jpeg or .JPG file without compression. Scan all photos using the Color option even if they are B&W.

  5. What format should my scanned photos be? They should be saved as either a .Jpeg or .JPG file without any compression.

  6. How long will the process take? Generally our Restoration/Retouching/Manipulation services take between 3-7 days.

  7. Do you do Rush Orders? YES! We can have your order ready the Next Day for an extra charge of $35.00 per photo.

  8. Are my original photos altered? Never! We utilize state of the art digital technology, therefore your original photos are Never altered. We make Digital copies of your originals that will never fade or be susceptible to damage as would your original photos.

  9. How should I package my photos for mailing? Place the photos carefully between two pieces of thick cardboard (the edges of the cardboard should extend at least 1 inch beyond the photos and should be taped together) Make sure to insure your photos for their full value.   10. Do you offer any guarantees? We guarantee you will be 100% happy with the results of your order. If you are not, we will make the needed changes at no extra cost, and we won't stop until you are satisfied. We will insure the photos you have sent us for the value you specify.  We guarantee our work to be the highest quality around!

  11. Are there any photos you can't fix? Rarely. We will attempt to restore every photo regardless of it's condition.  If there is something there, even if most of it isn't we Can Salvage it.

  12. Do you restore old artwork? YES! Keep in mind that we do not modify the original, only a scan of the original.

  13. Can I see the progress of my photos? Every Client will be emailed within 3-5 days with a digital proof.  Once the proof is approved, we will mail out the hard copies.

  14. How do I pay for my order? For the fastest service, we accept most major credit-cards and e-checks through PayPal or Google Checkout.  We also accept Credit Card Orders over the phone.   We can also accept Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and Personal Checks (Allow 3-10 days for Personal Checks to clear...)   15. Do you do custom work? YES! Please use our Order page and explain in detail what you have in mind. We will send you an estimate within 3 hrs.

  16. I can't download my completed Photos... If it doesn't go through the 1st time, try several more times as your internet connection may be breaking up. If after many failed attempts it still doesn't work...Contact Us...

  17. Is there a size limit for uploaded files? YES! Scanned Photos should be no bigger than 10 Mb. Please make sure your Uploaded photos don't exceed this limit. If mailing your Photos on a CD, there is no file size limit. make sure to save your Photos as a .Jpeg or .JPG file without using any compression.

  18. Do you make house calls? YES! If you live in the metro Detroit area, we can come to you and scan your photos for an extra charge of $50.00 hr.

  19. Can music, text and FX be added to Slide Shows? YES! We can personalize your photo slide shows to meet all of your unique needs. Whether it's for a wedding, anniversary or birthday party, we will use your ideas along with our creativity to create something memorable.

  20. Why should I archive my photos to DVD? Photos get damaged...When we scan your pictures, you will have a CD or DVD of your photos that can later be used for e-mailing, enlarging and printing your digital photos. The quality of your digital photos will not degrade as would physical photos. They last for generations.  Peace of Mind...At your request, we will keep your photos on file, should anything ever happen to your originals or the CD/DVD we made for you. We offer this service at no extra charge, because we value You, and the memories that your pictures hold.  Convenience...You will be able to view your pictures on your computer, TV or DVD player and you will be able to print as many high quality reproductions as you wish. More than 2,500 photos can be stored on a DVD and can be organized into categories.
