If you do not have access to a scanner…
Go to the link to find a Scanning location near you… Find location
You can take them to any Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, Fed-Ex or UPS Store and have them scan the photo(s) for you at 600dpi. They can email the photos directly to us at info@phojoe.com
Make sure they put your Full name & email address in their email to us so we know it’s from you.
You can also download and use scanning Apps on your phone.

You can create an account to upload your photos. Don’t like creating new accounts? (We understand) You can use our Quick Photo Upload option where you do not have to create a Log-In and password. You can also just email the photos to us.
We use state of the art digital techniques, software and equipment. We have some of the most talented artists working for us. We scan in your photos at a high resolution so that they may be enlarged later.
Our Artists take pride in each and every picture, and each one presents a unique challenge. Unlike some of our competitors, we do All work Manually to ensure the highest possible quality, We do Not take shortcuts by using automated software & techniques. You will see a big difference in our work!
For Photos 2×3 in. or smaller—–Scan at 1200 dpi.
For Photos 2×3 – 5×7 in.—–Scan at 600 dpi.
For Photos larger than 5×7.—–Scan at 300 dpi.
- First, start off by wiping the glass of the scanner with a non-abrasive wipe and some Windex.
- Make sure the glass is completely dry before placing the picture down.
- Make sure the picture rests against one side of the scanner so that it remains straight.
- Preview the picture before scanning it.
- Refer to question #4 for scanning resolutions.
- Save your photos as a .Jpeg or .JPG file without compression.
- Scan all photos using the Color option even if they are B&W.

Never! We utilize state of the art digital technology, therefore your original photos are Never altered.
We make Digital copies of your originals that will never fade or be susceptible to damage as would your original photos.
Place the photos carefully between two pieces of thick cardboard (the edges of the cardboard should extend at least 1 inch beyond the photos and should be taped together). You can also place photos in an appropriate cardboard photo mailer and mail it to: Phojoe – 5799 S. Main St. #67 – Clarkston, Michigan – 48347____USA
Please Write PHOTOS: DO NOT BEND on the outside of All packages.
We guarantee you will be 100% happy with the results of your order. If you are not, we will make the needed changes at no extra cost, and we won’t stop until you are satisfied. We will insure the photos you have sent us for the value you specify.

When we scan your pictures, you will have a CD or DVD of your photos that can later be used for e-mailing, enlarging and printing your digital photos. The quality of your digital photos will not degrade as would physical photos. They last for generations.

At your request, we will keep your photos on file, should anything ever happen to your originals or the CD/DVD we made for you. We offer this service at no extra charge, because we value You, and the memories that your pictures hold.

You will be able to view your pictures on your computer, TV or DVD player and you will be able to print as many high quality reproductions as you wish. More than 2,500 photos can be stored on a DVD and can be organized into categories.
